About this award
The USW Indigenous Scholarships support First Nations, Inuit and Métis students who are USW members or the children, grandchildren or immediate family of active or retired members. The program awards six $1,500 scholarships across Canada, two of them to applicants living in Ontario or Atlantic Canada. Applicants submit a short video or written statement, and priority goes to students from remote regions who will study far from home. Past winners may apply again in later years.

- Will attend a post-secondary institution in Canada, including a skilled trades program at a college or technical institute
