About this award
A one-time federal bonus of $5,000 for apprentices who finish their apprenticeship and become certified in an eligible Red Seal trade. It is part of the federal Team Canada Strong skilled trades plan. A Grade 12 student would not qualify for several years, but it is a meaningful reward at the end of an apprenticeship.
