About this award
Ontario Tech automatically gives an Award of Recognition to recent Canadian secondary school graduates based on their best six 4U/4M courses. It is $1,000 for 85% to 89.9%, $2,000 for 90% to 94.9% and $4,000 for 95% or higher, paid in first year only. Returning students can later earn separate in-course scholarships of $1,000 or $1,500 based on university GPA.
Who can apply
- Recent graduate of a Canadian secondary school, starting within 18 months of graduation
- No previous post-secondary studies
- Best six 4U/4M average of 85% or higher
- Enrolled in at least an 80% course load per term
- Only one entrance scholarship can be held at a time
