About this award

The Métis Nation of Ontario gives financial help to MNO citizens going to university, and Grade 12 students can apply before they have an acceptance letter. Getting OSAP, Indspire funding or other scholarships does not reduce this support. MNO also runs a separate Métis Student Bursary Program at 43 Ontario schools, including Nipissing University and Canadore College, which students apply to after registering in the fall and which requires financial need.
