About this award

A national set of scholarships from Canada's mechanical contractors for students and apprentices in engineering, plumbing, business management, computer science and related fields. Applicants need a link to the industry: a parent or guardian who is a salaried employee of a member company, an apprenticeship with a member company, or a student chapter membership. Several awards are set aside for apprentices and for women.

Who can apply

  • MCAC Student Chapter Member, or the child/ward of a salaried employee of an MCAC member company (membership must be active for at least one year), or an apprentice of an MCAC member company
  • Enrolled full-time in a degree, diploma, certificate or apprenticeship program at an accredited Canadian institution
  • Minimum B average in the previous academic year
  • Field of study connected to mechanical contracting
  • Not a recipient of a major scholarship or bursary
