This bursary helps Northern Ontario high school graduates with the greatest financial need start a degree at Nipissing University. Nipissing lists it at $5,000 in first year, renewable at $5,000 a year for three more years. Recipients agree to work with a mentor in an extracurricular activity each year. - Full-time undergraduate entering Year One of any program at Nipissing
- Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person (not open to international students)
- Lives in Northern Ontario and graduated from a Northern Ontario high school within the last three years
- Greatest financial need and has overcome obstacles and adversity
- Must work with a mentor in an extracurricular activity each year of the program
