About this award
Canadore College offers up to five bursaries a year to students who are or were in the care of a Children's Aid Society. The bursary covers the OCAS application fee and tuition and ancillary fees for one Canadore program, and can renew for up to four years if progression requirements are met. It does not cover residence. Students apply to Canadore and OSAP and provide a letter from the Children's Aid Society.
Who can apply
- Was placed in the care of the Children's Aid Society at some point in their life
- Receives an offer of admission and meets its final conditions
- High school applicants, mature students and current students who were previously in care can apply
- Programs delivered with partner institutions may not be eligible
